About This Project: The client, an estate planning attorney, wanted to undertake a direct mail campaign to generate leads. He already had advertising in place, which was targeted at individuals and families. I suggested that he target businesses, and came up with a flyer that his marketing assistant could mail (specifically to a list of prospective firms I had obtained gratis for him from an open-source database). The idea was to present his expertise and services as a value-added benefit for the prospective firm’s employees.
This project took about 3 days of work, from crafting the entire content to designing the layout. It was important to convey the benefit of the client’s offering, simply and succinctly. The design of the flyer was also kept clean and tailored, with minimal clutter and maximum “white space”.
